The close encounters with Aldabra tortoises will run from 9th June, at the times shown in the calendar.In order to take part to this activity you will also need to be the holder of an admission ticket to the Zoo.

Description
The close encounters with Aldabra tortoises will take you to a slower reality, together with these wonderful animals. You will enter the enclosure of the eldest animals of the Zoo, escorted by our guide, to learn their secrets and how we look after them. We will then prepare a nice treat and learn if their sturdy shell can feel our touch.
The activity will be carried with full respect towards the animals, following their pace.
The experience is for a maximum of 4 people, so that we can guarantee and exclusive experience for everyone.
Duration: approximately 30 minutes
Minimum age: 5
Practical Information
- No refund or change of time slot is available if you arrive late or don't show on the day of the event. Please arrive on time!
- We strongly suggest to book online to avoid disappointment
- We advise to wear closed toe shoes
- Minimum age is 5 years
- For safety reasons it is not possible to participate with a wheelchair or pushchair
- It is forbidden to enter with bags or umbrellas, these can be left in a safe area outside the enclosure
