Description
The entrance, in a special area next to the animal enclosure, is open to a maximum of two people at a time, accompanied by an educator from the park's educational department, who will reveal the secrets of the largest kangaroos on the planet. It will be an opportunity to feel like real zoo keepers and learn about the world of training. The training is a special programme, using positive reinforcement, which helps to create a relationship of trust and cooperation between the animal and its keeper. The effectiveness of the training has been demonstrated on a wide variety of animal species. It requires patience, perseverance, determination and a lot of time, but it allows many obstacles in the management of animals in zoos to be overcome, thereby increasing their welfare.
The activity will be carried out with full respect for the animals from a health and hygiene point of view, adapting to their pace.
A maximum of two people are allowed at a time to ensure an exclusive experience for each participant.
Duration: approximately 20 minutes.
Minimum age required: 10 years old.
